My wife and I are public school teachers who live on the coastline in Southern Rhode Island.  We live on 5+ wooded acres where our labs can exercise at home or nearby on the beaches.

We have owned  labrador retrievers for over 30 years and do believe that these English Labradors are the most affectionate, loyal and family-focused pets out there.

In the past, I have done some field training and enjoyed the intelligence and loyalty that this breed has.
